9th Edition Of The Turkish-italian Forum
Roma Büyükelçiliği
05.11.2012
The Italian Foreign Minister H.E. Mr. Giulio Terzi di Sant'Agata and his Turkish counterpart Minister H.E. Mr. Ahmet Davutoglu will be attending the 9th edition of Ita-Turk Forum on November 12, 2012 in Rome - St. Regis Hotel.
The Eurozone crisis has impacted deeply upon Italy, southern Europe and the European Union as a whole. Surrounding regions have also not been immune to the crisis. The southern Mediterranean countries, whose economic problems contributed to the Arab spring, now struggle to recover in view of their dependence on Europe. Turkey instead, has maintained high levels of growth, but beneath the surface, its interdependence with the EU also casts shadows over its economic future. What precisely has been the impact of the crisis on Italy, Turkey and the Mediterranean and what are the prospects for turning the interdependence between the three into a force for the recovery of the wider Europe space?
